Dr. Jenelle Kim, DACM, L.Ac., is a 9th generation Doctor of Traditional Oriental Medicine, practitioner of Qi Gong/Moving Meditation, and teacher of the 8 Keys of Living Meditation. She is a prolifically and internationally cited wellness expert who has been featured in Forbes, Allure, Meditation Magazine, Time, & Good Morning America. She is the founder & master formulator of her custom manufacturing labs – JBK Wellness Labs – where her and her team of experts have developed innovative products in the clean beauty (skin, body, hair) and nutraceutical (dietary supplements, nutritional powders, etc) categories for global and indie brands carried in high-end retailers, including Credo, Nordstrom, Sephora & Ulta, for over 20 years.

Her book, Myung Sung: The Korean Art of Living Meditation, published by Watkins/Penguin Random House is available globally with foreign rights deals in over ten languages/countries. In her book, Dr. Kim shares the 8 Keys of Living Meditation, offering a centuries-proven way to achieve a Warrior mindset that allows you to balance with anything that comes your way, in every area of life including business, relationships and parenting. These principles are rooted in the Tao (the “way” of the universe) and have been passed down for centuries. Dr. Kim’s unique approach to meditation combines lessons on movement and natural medicine learned from a lifetime of experience studying Eastern philosophy, Eastern medicine, and martial arts.

Dr. Kim is devoted to integrating the philosophy, medical wisdom, and expertise of East Asia with the advancements of modern life and medicine of the West in order to touch and positively affect the lives of others.

My Mission

Dr. Jenelle Kim’s mission centers on sharing the principles of ancient Eastern medicine, particularly herbal healing traditions, with the modern world. As a doctor of Chinese medicine and a master herbalist, she aims to integrate Eastern and Western practices to promote holistic wellness. Her focus is on educating people about mindfulness, natural health, and the benefits of plant-based therapies.

At the core of her mission are the 3M’s: Medicine, Movement, and Meditation. These pillars represent the belief that optimal health comes from balancing the body, mind, and spirit. Medicine refers to the ancient herbal formulas she creates and shares to support physical well-being. Movement emphasizes the importance of staying active and in harmony with the body utilizing Qi Gong/Moving Meditation techniques handed down in her lineage for centuries that quickly and effectively rebalance the Meridian systems, which in turn help the body to function and flow at its optimum. Living Meditation consists of the 8 Keys to encourage mindfulness and mental clarity, helping people connect with their inner selves and see life more clearly. Through this powerful holistic approach, Dr. Kim seeks to help individuals achieve balance, health, and fulfillment in their lives.
